What is Fossil Island?
Fossil Island is the sixth island. Both walkthroughs and the on-screen quest agree on 15,000,000 Coins plus those three weight gates. Quest rods here include the Zen Staff Rod and the Dread Fish Rod. A third rod was described as five Legendary fish and 5,000,000 Coins with no skill condition; its name was not legible, so it is not a separate catalog entry. A race quest sits on the mountain, and its requirements are not published. Boss spots: the boat dock, and the dock behind the island.

How do you get Fossil Island?
Sail to the island and pay the NPC at the arrival point. From Snow Island onward the unlock is a quest, and you can hold only one quest at a time. The quest panel on key 3 shows the next requirement before you leave.
How do you use Fossil Island?
Lock fish the next gate names before you sell. Prepare Coins and fish first if you want to unlock on arrival. A teleport pass, where owned, returns you to islands you have already unlocked. It does not skip a locked gate.
